I have a child with a disability, and we've worked with Better Home Care's aides a few times this year. I almost lost my job this summer because of how unreliable the aide, Nadia, was. She kept telling me not to get someone else for the summer because she'd be there for him, and at the last minute she decided she couldn't fit it into her schedule because she had another patient with another agent that was more important. Now, we're working with an aide we actually liked and she has been having to call out for health reasons (understandable), and the agency refuses to tell me when she calls out. My autistic son with limited speech has been abandoned twice this week at his bus stop because his aide called out and Better Home Care refused to tell me. The first time she called out, she was told "no, you have to go. " Obviously, she couldn't and they never thought to inform me nobody would be there for him. Today, she was told she couldn't work by the company. She let me know they told her she wasn't allowed to tell me she couldn't come. Again, nobody was there for my son. I could lose my job and be fined by the school district. I would not recommended entrusting the care of your loved ones, especially ones that cannot speak for themselves, to this company. They obviously do not care about a child's health or safety.

Went for interview, never heard from them back with interview results. Was asked like 5 times if I can prove that I'm will be at the job 100%. Since I have a child with disability. I guess it wasn't enough. This company makes money of the people with disabilities but will not hire a parent who needs a job to provide her child with disability.

Going with Better Home Care Agency in regards to my grandmother has been an amazing experience! They have a very professional environment and excellent staff. The coordinator that has been assisting us (Marina), has gone above and beyond to meet all of our requests and needs and is an important asset to the company. I would recommend Better Home Care to everyone!

Better home care agency is simply the best! Both of my grandmothers are under their care and are totally satisfied. The management, coordinators and staff are always helpful and always available if needed. Marina is the coordinator I am working with and she is pleasant, helpful and always there for her clients.

It's the worst ever agency I have seen!!! The managers and coordinators are irresponsible and unreliable. Don't ever deal with Marina, probably all others are the same!

This is an excellent organization, the staff is friendly, the patients are wonderful and the quality of care is top notch. So many times the nurses and therapists go above and beyond for their patients. Many times making visits on weekends and evenings to accommodate patient's busy schedule. This organization is the definition of "better" home care.

Better Home Care is a great place to work, as well as working with consumers in the community. The family atmosphere and the goal oriented staff is always eager and available to assist. I love that I'm able to build personal and professional relationships with all of the consumers. I've worked here over a year in the Long Term Department, the Administrator and the Owners are great people who care about their consumers as well as their employees. They deliver continuous care through out Philadelphia and surrounding areas. Great place to work for knowing that the consumers well being is our priority.
