We went for brunch today and the Hollandaise sauce was missed on our Eegs Benedict. When we asked the waiter about this,he said it was on the eggs we received but there was not a trace of that sauce on all three of our orders.

We went for a drink last night and the service was great, gave us a few generous samples and then we sat out by the water with our wine! Would definitely come back.

We love the winery, the service has improved immensely over the last could of months. The drinks and food have always been great. Thank you for taking the time and effort to pay attention to the small things. Try the wine slush !

The only thing good about this place was the view. The Menu items are overpriced for the portion size. The quality was alright, not the best. Wait staff not so friendly. Mid afternoon time frame. Restroom in poor condition. If you are looking for more than one sweet wine, do not stop here. Do yourself a favor and stop at Kroger and pick up some Barefoot wine, it is better and less expensive.

Nice place. The wait staff (the men) were hustling and making sure all guests were accommodated. The food is obviously put together by a master Chef...who it appears took the time to train the cook staff so that when the Chef is not there, they still perform well. Hubby had a filet that was perfectly done [we've been living in NYC area, so have a high standard for steaks], and the bourbon brown sugar carrots were outstanding too. I had the fish and chips and it was a generous serving with an excellent tartar sauce. It appears the place is trying to be a step above... not just a wine shack that happens to serve food but a quality restaurant that you can bring guests to impress and still have a relaxed time sitting by the lake. While not a "local winery" where you can try out an extended variety of Ohio wines, it is a wine restaurant who has a sommelier who hand selects all the wines featured. Recommend you take the drive (watch out for deer on the road in) and enjoy a glass of wine and some fine food by the lake.

Other than the excellent view not worth going to. Food was WAY over priced and not to mention the $10 glasses of wine that the winery didn’t even make. For two of us it shouldn’t cost $100. This isn’t a fine dining location. The service was sub par. Overall not impressed. 2 stars for the view of the lake from the patio.
