Client Review on CalAtlantic Homes at Sentiero

Feedback:

I placed a service ticket after being in my new house for two weeks. It took Chad about two weeks just to come look at what needs to be done. When he scheduled the trades he didn't schedule or bother contacting all the trades that he needed to. I finally after keeping on top of Chad as much as I could because he wasn't taking care of things, I just snapped. I told Chad I am filing a complaint and I don't want to work with him anymore. This was on December 3 almost three weeks since I made the service request. There is paint, glue and grout all over the floor and other surfaces. The bathtubs and bathroom countertops have glue, caulking and who knows what else all over them. These are the bigger things. There are a few smaller things that I don't have space to list. I do have a full complaint on the Consumer Website. I told Chad in a voicemail that I'm completely unhappy, disappointed and do not want to work with him again. The next day he called me trying to play it off as he didn't know what was going on. I got a phone call from Allen, Chad's boss that day as well. When I voiced my concern I was cut off and told to forget about it and to move on. That Chad dropped the ball and things happened. I don't see how that is when I kept calling and texting Chad. It was a case of someone not wanting to do their job. I personally didn't like Allen's attitude but I was at work and decided it wasn't worth arguing if things will get done. The 14th of November all the trades were supposed to be at my house between 8AM and noon. The fiberglass guy showed right around noon. This caused a problem because I wasn't expecting to have to be home past noon. I stayed home until 2PM an extra 2 hours and things are still not done. I text Chad and Allen to let them know a few things. One is that Chad didn't drop the ball he royally "F" up. I got a call from Allen telling me I shouldn't speak that way to his guys. Well. Allen why did you call me when it was the past? It happened get over it and move on....I completely and totally agree with the 77 negative complaints on the Consumer website. I am over a month since making my complaint and still waiting for things to be done.Allen is rude, lacks understanding and compassion. He tried to manipulate me into thinking how grateful I should be for what they have done. HAHAHA!!! This is a brand new house should be clean no paint, glue and grout everywhere. It should definitely have things that are working and do not need to be replaced. Lennar needs to understand who concerning it is for a home owner to buy a brand new home and have all these issue. Not try to manipulate someone into thinking that they should be grateful that something got done but not all of it. Lennar still needs to come back and finish. I wonder how long this will take them now. I gave them two dates. I should be charging them for my time and getting some money back because I definitely didn't buy the home that I thought I did.
