A truly professional program that I can honestly say has saved the life of my adult son. The leadership and staff displayed extraordinary compassion for those affected by substance abuse. Their professional acumen is second to none. The providers and support staff made themselves available for questions and input towards the end-state of healthy transitional living. Casa Palmera Treatment Center has my highest recommendation. Their commitment to veterans and their loved ones is also displayed with their acceptance of Tricare. Thanks so much!

I wanted to love Casa Palmera. I really did. I thought that by the looks of it, they would do what they could to keep addicts away from temptation and would do a diligent and serious job at keeping the men and women separate as well as drugs and alcohol out of the facility.Unfortunately, while my husband went to treatment, he ended up having a "sleepover" with a group of other men and women and ended up having sex with one of the girls, Sydney (who is, too, married). I was devastated knowing my husband is broken, weak and obviously not in the right state of mind. How could this go under the radar? Who knows what else went on (drugs, sex or otherwise) but either way I think I good resolution to this would be better security, better awareness and more strict pat downs and check ups.While visiting, it was clear that anyone of the visitors could easily bring in contraband or any other drugs or alcohol into the facility because there is absolutely no security. I understand that it is up to the addict to say no but if casa could reduce the risk of triggers and be more aware of whats going on in the facility not only would my marriage have had a better chance of surviving but others may have a safer and better experience overall.

Casa Palmera changed my life. Before my admission this past September, my life was in shambles. I had many complex behavioral health issues that I could no longer manage on my own. Casa welcomed me with open arms. The therapists, doctors, nurses, techs, and other staff were all so amazing. The food was great. The rooms were comfortable. They made sure all of my needs were met. I came out of Casa Palmera a new woman, and I will be eternally grateful. I highly recommend anyone with a substance abuse or mood disorder receive treatment here. Hands down the best treatment center.

I wanted to warn any and all possible in patients that may decide to check in to Casa Palmera detox facility. I took my 21 year old daughter to their intake appointment. Their first point of contact was Jessica. She was extremely rude and unwelcoming. There was I must say a very sweet intake nurse that took my daughters vitals on prepared her for the visit. Her name was Akara. She was the only shining light that represented this facility. The next contact was their Director Dr. Marci Allen. She was not compassionate. Very Cold. Had no business working in a facility that centered around drug addiction. She was Negative. Rude. Mean. Basically the last person you would expect to be the Director and Doctor at a Drug Rehabilitation Facility. Long story short, after waiting 2 weeks out of town to prepare my daughter to agree to go into a rehab facility for her Heroin Drug Addication, she ended up running away from the Facility due to the demeanor and unprofessional conduct of Dr. Marci Allen who in my opinion is not qualified to work in the health care profession for such a serious disease that is a national epidemic and a life or death desicion to agree to check into an inpatient facility. If God Forbid my daughter passes away or if anything happens to her during this time that she is not with me due to the negligence of this Dr. Allen, I will personally orchestrate a petition to have this Dr. removed from Casa Palmera's facility. I strongly feel that the health and well being of all of our children as well as all of the suffering addicts in this county should not be subject to such horrible treatment as we received today at the hands of this Doctor at Casa Palmera. I have already filed a formal complaint with my health care insurance, Managed Health Net, and have asked for them to discontinue working with this facility immediately so that other suffering addicts don't fall into the same hands that my daughter did when she was so vulnerable and scared. Please reconsider your choice of admission AFTER reading this review. thank you

I really liked the doctors and therapists at Casa. The family week was intense and helpful. I have faith now that my son is in his 10th week of sobriety. We'll be hitting their Friday Night meeting tomorrow and I look forward to seeing some of the gang. Special kudos to Dr. David Gray, who runs the treatment part of the facility (I think). He is both "in" The Program and he runs The Program at Casa. Very smart guy and an extremely good presenter. I'm grateful that Casa was there for us.

We can not say enough wonderful things about our experience with Casa Palmera. From the staff to the Doctors, Counselors and programs offered. We had an unbelievable support system. So many incredible groups, one on ones, options for different types of conditions not to mention the beautiful setting. I just wish we would have found them sooner. This was where our family member learned new ways to function in the crazy world outside! Thank you all!
