Friendly and helpful but a bit of a bait and switch on pricing and no apology for the error which I went back to confirm online and learned was the businesses' mistake. St. Croix Falls to Osceola mon to thurs special is listed as $35 per canoe but on arrival after scheduling we were charged $40 per canoe. Eric said this was only for the "off season." Nothing on his website listing for the service indicates this. Eric could have known this and been lying. We will never know. Chalk it up to everyone has to make a living. Driver helpful and friendly and good experience on river.

Unprofessional staff. Horrible pick up procedure, will never use again. Use interstate state park, Taylor Falls, or Riverwood, who all had several shuttles come in the span of one of Eric's. Our group has floated a few rivers before and never have we had such a poor experience renting equipment and getting rides. We had a launch time of 10am and there were no employees at the shack they call an office until 10' when we wanted to be in the water or heading that direction. We didn't get to the lake with the canoes we payed for until almost 10:30. From which we had to unload them by our selves and grab all of our own gear. The river was amazing. It wasn't too hot and it moved quickly enough we hardly had to paddle to reach the destination, Osceola, in right around 2.5 hours. When we pulled out our canoes, at 1pm, and their ride service was there just a few minutes after our call but immediately filled up with other people. We were assured another ride would be coming shortly. AN HOUR LATER THE NEXT RIDE PULLS IN. It took another 40 minutes to load the ride with people and belongings and 20 minutes to finally get back to our car. I WILL NEVER NEVER use this service again. The driver chewed and spit while we were in the vehicle, forgot to tie down the canoes and had to stop the shuttle back partway through, and continued to crowd family on the small bus despite other shuttles right behind us. Overall, an incredibly unprofessional experience.

The wait to get back to our cars was unbelievably long, our group was cut off from the first shuddle available and then we had to wait another hour for the next one. The driver of the shuddle was rude and kept asking people to fill the bus even when the seats and isle were full. After the bus was loaded the driver made sure to take a second to pull out his chew and stuff his lip full. The rest of the staff was incredibly under-trained and unprofessional. The owner came out to us and asked for the cash back that we were given as a refund for a boat that we didn't use. Unprofessional and rude, avoid renting from here.

DO NOT RENT FROM THEM. they overcharged us when we arrived. We waited over an hour for a ride promised would arrive in ten minutes. We were blown off when we called to check on the location of the bus. After getting on the bus, they filled the seats and then waited 20mins to fill the standing space. The employee ask us all to squish together "nice and uncomfortable" so we could fit an additional 5 people. Once we were over packed with an additional 10-12people. We waited 20 more minutes while he filled his lip with chewing tabacoo and took a phone call. We wait outside for an hour then on a over packed bus for 45mins until we pulled out. So we had 30 people on a 10-15 person bus.
