Client Review on Farris Motor Co

Feedback:

Pros and Cons, easiest way to rate my experience. Bottom line is i would recommend buying a car from Farris Motor Company and i love my new Jeep!Pros:1) They made buying a new car and trading my upside down, old car, happen by working hard to find a lender. 2) They had a good selection of new and used vehicles.3) Travis treated me very well and the atmosphere was nice.4) I was able to test drive several vehicles even before i was approved.CONS:1) Once a vehicle was chosen, I was not thoroughly explained all of the differences of all the models and features available. I was basically told this is the one that will work, and as that may be true but i would still want to know everything that was available on them. You cant do enough research before buying!!2) I did not get a run-through of the vehicle i bought and a complete walk-around after i bought it. i had to figure out what everything was on my own and how it worked. I was handed the keys and off i went. In past car buying experiences that was not the case. Bottom line is it was a good experience and i would recommend buying a car from Farris Motor Company but do as much research as you can before buying so you can make an informed decision, it sucks reading the manual and finding out all the things the model you bought doesn't have!!!Update:Its been over one year and the Cherokee has been performing great!!My experience with the service department has been very good. Fast and efficient!!Here is the disappointing part:Everyone in business knows that a HOT referral is worth its weight in gold.... So you would think!!!! Well I sent a friend to purchase a brand new Cherokee KL. Which he did! I was expecting a grand thank you or hey maybe a T-Shirt, a free oil change or how a bout a $100 gift certificate!!!!! I just made them a $30,000 sale and it didn't cost them anything!! Well what i got was a "oh that program isn't good anymore". WTF??? This was the worst excuse for an answer anyone in sales should ever give to a customer who sends a HOT sales lead. If i was the owner I would fire that salesman on the spot or at least send them for some sales training so they don't ruin my business. Very disappointed at my dealership who has been great so far. I don't get annoyed very easily but i guess a hot lead means nothing to them!! :(.Update:So they called me to explain that they were changing referral programs and i was between programs and that of course they understood the value of a good referral and apologized for the mix up. That was cool and unexpected. Faith restored, like i said Farris has been great so far especially the service department over the last year and have always taken good care of me and keep my Jeep in perfect running condition. I expect that to continue.
