Tonight I bought a £7 day pass to use the gym and code for the door didn’t even work! So I pressed the call button to speak to someone, and the guy tells me that sometimes you have to wait up to 30 mins for the code to activate the door!? So I wait for half an hour outside and try again, and the code still doesn’t let me in!! I used the keypad to try and attract a member of staff but there was no one on site. So basically I wasted my evening and lost £7. What an absolute joke!!

Everything you'd expect from this type of gym, friendly staff, clean, lots of equipment, free classes, 24 hour access.

Some minor issues to iron out eg. Water fountain too shallow for bottles over 500ml. No spin classes available. Would prefer the classroom to be a room rather than a spot in the corner.

If you are a beginner and starting out, the gym is perfect. However i find that the weight plates are very few and could do with an update to how the clips hold on to the bar, i mean, atleast put some oil so that it doesn’t rust! Or change into plastic clippers. Same old equipments from cheap supplier(hammer strength). JD gyms in Salford provides a more upmarket kit and they have more kit to use.
