On June 30th, my husband and I chose Garlics to celebrate our 1st year anniversary at 2 trusted couples' recommendations. After seeing reviews and photos, we went for it! My husband's steak was almost perfect (cooked medium well instead of medium rare) and tasted delicious. We ended up sharing his steak. My meal, a seafood pasta, tasted sour, bitter, and like vomit. The seafood pasta was absolutely terrible. I tried two bites, and that's all I could take. It was disgusting. The waiter then offered an alternative meal, so I picked the steak, cooked medium rare. It came out, burnt at the top. It brought tears to my eyes, because this was our 1st anniversary and it was awful that both meals were completely off. At the end, the waiter charged us for both steaks, cooked sub-par at this high-quality restaurant, and offered a cheesecake as an apology. We spent over $100 for one good steak. It was truly sad, especially after the amazing reviews we read of and heard from family members.I'd love to give it another shot...but I'm just nervous it's gonna be another $100 wasted.

Great spot for a reasonably priced delicious meal with great service.We have eaten there several times since discovering this great spot and the service andI really enjoyed my dinner at the Grand Chalet, it was my first time going and I would definitely go again. We ordered the tiger shrimp, mussels and I got the seafood linguine all of which were awesome!

Gaucho is the quintessential Pittsburgh restaurant! They have a personable and excellent staff who are always friendly and welcoming. Their atmosphere is that of a rustic yet modern cabin, and their food is the zenith of the experience.

One of the better downtown bistropubs. Their charcuterie platters are always well arranged and I try to make a visit once a season when they participate in Londonlicious. I love the way their menu changes seasonally with local fare and their vegetarian menu options are usually very satisfying.

Went here once with my girlfriend after a long walk in London. We didn't want something heavy and we didn't look to formal. I always worry about being dress codes in restaurants. We ordered two pizzas and arancini. Pizza was cracker style, arancini was good. Wouldn't mind going again.

Garlics has quickly become one of my new lunch go to’s. Amazing service and great food every time! The fresh bread is the best I have ever had. You can never go wrong with the different lunch specials being offered daily.
