Client Review on Home Quest, LLC

Feedback:

Subjective and at times inaccurate. Having been on the receiving end of an inspection, I can say that Home Quest essentially labelled everything in our home as a potential problem and should be inspected by a professional. If the job of an inspector is to call out rust on a water pump...it pumps water...or a smell in a attic...it's an attic, just to cover their own, then I ask what the value of an inspection really is. In addition, a newly installed toilet was left shaken loose and then written up.1/24/19. Again, the toilet was installed six months ago and did not move until Home Quest did the inspection, it’s just math. The support under the house was described as “inadequate”. It’s been standing the same way...FOR A HUNDRED YEARS...so please, for all of us, define inadequate. You blow up a sale on our house and I’m going to pay you for your report? Do you follow rainbows in hopes of finding a leprechaun? Your reviews are good from people you inspect FOR. It isn’t value added, it’s a strategy to inspect for the buyer so the company has no liability and saves the buyer money by calling out things regardless of accuracy. It is accepted in the real estate world as, “yeah, that’s what inspectors do sometimes, it’s a game.” However, in the glorious age of GOOGLE, I have the forum and right to call it out for what it is...WORTHLESS.
