I was there once before a few months ago and had a great experience and decided to return to get a basic trim as I am trying to grow out my hair and get it colored. First my appointment was canceled on me 2 hours prior to the time as I was headed out to run errands on my way there. I was extremely disappointed because I wanted it done before going on vacation. So, I rescheduled when was on my way back from vacation. My stylist was Michelle. She had NO CLUE what she was doing. The instructor Kate was helpful and honest but Michelle still did not follow directions. Another student offered to help her and was very kind to direct her in the right way. After being their for 4 hours I left having to make a second appointment because my hair was not able to be done in 1 visit. Not only is this twice the money but quite the inconvenience. While doing my hair,Michelle got bleach all over the back of my shirt ruining it as I saw when I got home. She burned my heck with the end of the hairbrush after having the dryer held against it. Then she just said "oops that can happen ". She then "trimmed" my hair and did not let me see the back before sending me home. As I said, I just wanted split ends trimmed because I am growing it out. When I got home i styled my hair as usual and looked at the back and was in tears. It was SO uneven and choppy. I had to trim it to even it out and fix it myself. I know this is a school but this student should not be doing hair on her own and she messed up sooo terribly. I will be canceling my follow up appointment and will not be returning. I was very disappointed and upset.

Bad decision. I had been growing out my natural blonde for a few months. I decided to add some highlights in the balayage pattern pictured below to start to blend out the old red and my natural blonde. I thought a school can do it, because they are supervised. Wow. Terrible job. She darkened my hair into a weird greenish beige and whatever highlights she thought she was adding, didnt lift. (I only asked for highlights, no covering my blonde roots). After the 4 hours of processing, she didnt use an appropriate conditioner (if any at all) and proceeded to ROUGHLY comb and blow dry with very high heat. I shouldn't have let her blow dry, but I was hoping to see the color. I did have to stop her, as she didnt recognize when she was harshly combing broken hair; she was in a rush bc she had taken so long. You can see how much broke off. She took so long to process, that we stayed past closing so the teacher left! These are students! They need oversight! My hair is this awful beige copper now. So terrible color with tons of damage that I have to work to repair. On top of that, the salon charged me an extra 30 on top of my groupon. Just... dont do it. I'm not the only one that day with extreme damage too.

I had purchased the full highlight package from Groupon - I figured I would give it a try because honestly you could not beat the price for what they offer. I am glad I did. My stylist was Adrianna. Young and energetic, very personable. She did an amazing job on the highlights and I will be returning to the school in the future. My experience here was very good - the place had a good feel, the instructors Jesus & Jenn were very knowledgeable and were very attentive to the students as well as the clients. I feel Adrianna will succeed and go very far in this field - wish her all the best and hope to see her soon for another appointment!

I had a amazing experience my hair came out perfect i had a great stylist I went at night at 615 but later on the student name Miranda down a couple seats from me was very obnoxious , horrible attitude and is not a team player I didnāt appreciate it while Iām getting my hair done.

My daughter and I got high lights. We both love them. The color purple they made is perfect for her. Cynthia did my hair. I love it. A teacher is always walking around making sure things are running smoothly. I'd rather come here to get hair done then any other be cause everyone is on task. Checking and double checking. They take time to make sure you get what you ask for. Students are cheerful and someone is singing along to the radio. You only pay for the supplies they use and the teacher has to check off on the supplies. They also do make up. Deff a place to check out. Ask for Cynthia
