Very friendly and knowledgeable people. All employees that weren't busy with other customers greeted me. Were able to give quote that was understandable and broken down to price for each type of material needed including hardware. They offered to drive out to my place to get accurate measurements to help with planning my project.

Phenomenal!That's how we would describe our new home construction experience with Lumber One - Avon...Our salesperson, Chuck worked with us during the entire building process from start to finish, helping us stay within our budget.Jack, our operations manager kept the progression of our build going, making sure we were able to stick with our timeline and get everything exactly the way we wanted.Our job superintendent, Rick was AMAZING! His 42+ years of experience with Lumber One - Avon surely helped him bring everything together nicely.Now it's time to build a shed. I will gladly elaborate. Threatening to come tear the deck down before you would credit any more than $200 for the poor workmanship would be one of those issuesA deck was built for our family - shoddy workmanship lead to them coming back to redo a portion of the deck and stairs. Those were not completed. LumberOne filed a Mechanich's Lien on my parents who had been waiting to pay the other half of the bill until things were completed. Hired a reputable contractor to appraise the deck, he found $1,500 worth of repairs would be needed. Things escalated where they spent more money on their attorney fee than we were asking back. My family had been using this company for 26 years.
