I had quite a few problems with the keyboard and trackpad disconnecting on my Early 2015 MacBook Pro. I took it to Nepageeks initially to look at. They took it apart and made sure the cables were connected and didn't charge me anything. Got it back and the same problem was occurring. I took it to the Apple Genius Bar and they said the flex cable to my trackpad had to be replaced which is strange because the machine is only a year old. They would not replace it for free because it was a month out of warranty. What a coincidence! They quoted me around 90 dollars for the repair. I called Nepageeks because I figured they would charge a lesser price than Apple and it was more convenient for me to pick up. The part itself is only around 10 dollars on Amazon. Nepageeks charged me more than the apple store by around 30 dollars which was surprising but I am happy my laptop is finally fixed.
