What was the best part of the experience?

The biggest thing I saw was how they utilized advertising strategically rather than running ads blindly. I mean, I had already put a decent amount of money into Google ads and social media ads before even working with these guys, but I wasn’t seeing any results from it. So what they did was they first analyzed all of that stuff, and then they rebuilt the campaigns from scratch. One of the biggest things I saw was how they focused on intent-based targeting and how they structured campaigns based on actual buyer behavior rather than impressions or clicks. Within a few weeks of working with these guys, I started seeing better quality traffic come in, and then eventually even better conversion rates too. It was like my money was being utilized for a purpose rather than being wasted.

What would you change about the experience?

If I had to make a recommendation, I'd say check-ins on the performance more often, especially during the initial period, would be beneficial. Though they offered reports, if they had weekly meetings, it could be even more transparent and collaborative. Additionally, the reports were a bit too technical for someone without a marketing background.

All in all, it was a good experience. Paid advertising is a tricky business, and I have worked with other agencies that overpromise. I like that this was more down-to-earth. The improvements weren’t instant, but I see them as lasting. I’m now comfortable investing in ads.
