Feedback:

We rented the property “ The one and only Ocean View” in Duck just off season for $12,000/week. The location was great with very spacious rooms, eight master suites three level house. According to the calendar it was not rented the two weeks prior, we checked in at 2pm because it is a premium property and found the house as filthy as a fraternity house the day after a party. Two people had just started cleaning, after many calls two more people came to help. We called again and were instructed to show the cleaning service our concerns and they would address it. Two cleaning managers stopped by and told us our concerns were considered a “ deep cleaning “ and they didn’t do that. The property is becoming rundown with stained kitchen stove tops, dishwasher seals coming off, gas grill barely working and filthy, the outside fridge was full of water, bathroom towel holders falling off the wall and a quarter inch of dust on all the furniture. I think you are getting the picture. The place needs a deep cleaning and a lot of maintenance to resume the price the are asking. Don’t be fooled by the online pictures that were probably taken just after the house was built. Resort Realty was not very accommodating except when we called about the ants in the kitchen.
