I had a nice experience in the first few month I lived here in the apartment building in Jersey city that is called Marbella 1 but as soon as there were problems that I asked to be addressed, the management to address them ,the leasing office manager as well as other leasing reps became hostile, unsuportive and refused to address ANY of the serious issues I brought to them. Furthermore, the more the problems compiled the more ignorant they became. I live in the Penthouse apt and pay a lot of money for it, however, when my bedroom carpet eroded at the door , and there were nails and staples sticking out which made it hazardous for me and my service dog , cat and guests to walk around , they refused to address it. This issue started last year around May, I called them to address it and they wanted me to pay $700 for a new carpet. When I refused they said there is nothing they can do. After almost a year, when it got progressively worse, I requested again to have someone to come and check it and at least get rid of the nails and staples that were sticking out and I , my service dog and other guests were stepping on them since they were across the doorway of the bedroom. After multiple requests they sent the maintenance to re examine it and finally they decided that there is a middle way to take care of it besides charging me for a new carpet a whopping fee of $700(!!!). This is only ONE example of the very poor management and service provided at this location. I heard multiple complaints from present and past residents that I became friends with about the very poor management practice of the leasing office and as a result of the mid and upper management that if they are not aware of it, then they are just as responsible and liable about what happens in their properties as the local management . I recommend to everyone that reads this review to be smart , and run far far away from this location at least and probably from any other location owned by the Roseland management. I personally am highly disappointed with them!

I used to live in an apartment called Andover Place in MA that Roseland operated. This was the WORST apartment I lived. Now other company took over the place. No wonder Roseland quit the business there, the management was extremely poor, the POOREST EVER. The manager Victoria was rude and always had a strong attitude. Something were stolen in my building. There are three doors in the building, but they just put one monitor for only one door to "comfort" us. During construction, they tear down my bedroom wall and door. My bedroom had NO DOOR for MONTHS. The construction lasted for three months and I can not stay in my apartment from 8am to 5pm. The room was very dirty everyday. They even made a HOLE on my floor that I could see the bathroom floor under my apartment. I rent a one bedroom but it became a studio because of no door in the bedroom. I asked them for compensation several times, they refused. When my lease ended, the maintenance manager Kevin said he forgot my appointment to check the apartment. I waited him for one hour. Right now I live in California, the apartment here is very good. The management is very nice and efficient. The maintenance even check twice about my request. Therefore, there are lots of management companies are better than Roseland. DO NOT live any apartment managed by Roseland, that would be your WORST experience.
