Client Review on Service Tech LLC

I brought in a laptop that wasn't working properly. Service Tech restored the factory settings, which erased a lot of what I had on the computer. It still wasn't working and a technician from another company advised me to get a new keyboard. Service Tech installed the keyboard at no charge, which I appreciate, and that did fix my issue. However, I lost a lot of my work files that he did not back up before restoring the factory settings, and my Windows Movie Maker is gone, making it difficult to post videos. I had to call him twice; the first time was when I was having trouble re-installing my internet service. He called back four days later, and by then someone else had fixed the issue for me. The second time, the Windows Office Standard that he installed was giving me a message that it would expire in four days. When Service Tech didn't answer his phone, I left a message explaining that I would lose my Office in four days. Meanwhile the same independent tech who assisted me in diagnosing the keyboard issue told me how to uninstall Standard and install the Home and Business I'd purchased with my laptop. Service Tech returned my call on Day 5. If I hadn't gotten help from someone else I would have had no Office, which I need for my business. I consider this poor service and am still trying to adapt to the "restore"--which I did NOT need and has caused me a lot of trouble.
