Client Review on Sony Group Corporation

This is the worst customer service I've ever experienced. A top of the line tv fails after 2 years. This is the response from sonys customer service - "Thank you for contacting Sony Electronics Inc. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you. Your file has been forwarded to our department. Please be advised that Sony provides a standard 1 year warranty for initial failures to be covered by the manufacturer. Once the warranty expires, it will be the customers responsibility to cover any repair cost on the unit. Due to the fact that the unit is beyond the manufacturer's warranty, we regret to inform you that we are unable to assist you with the repair/exchange.I'll never purchase any sony products again as long as I live. I would advise you all do the same. The quality of their products have gone downhill and they are only a name at this point. A sony used to mean something, apparently not anymore.
