Do not use this scam company!!!!!!! I sent them 300 negatives in various formats. I prepaid almost $70.00. I received my negatives back with 30 pictures on a flash drive. I emailed the company, they said they did not do those formats- however, I felt like their advertising led one to believe that they could convert any format of negatives, audio or pictures. I got a whole $23.00 refund- so I basically paid $35.00 for 30 pictures on a flash drive:(

I had a very disappointing experience with Southtree. I sent them nearly 1000 well-preserved, carefully stored professional negatives to be scanned. The scans were all absolutely unusable. Dust spots on every scan. All scans had cropped off the top of the negative leaving heads cut off. Some scans were reversed, i.e. they scanned the negative with the emulsion side of the film facing up instead of down.The strips of film I sent to them preserved in plastic sleeves were just dumped, unprotected, into envelopes upon their return.When I brought these problems to their attention, they did not care and said that dust was typical of their work. I have since sent the job to another scanning service in the hope that they have higher standards than Southtree. They returned $100 of the $250 I paid.Cindy M., Pro in Little Rock

They are inexpensive but that is it. They are extremely slow in getting my DVDs converted and back to me and took over 2 months. All were very washed out. I have since found out that Southtree converts their DVDs at 320 x 240 resolution which is half the quality of standard 8 mm quality of 640 x 480 resolution which is how the video was actually recorded. So the price is low and the quality is lower. I will have pay to get someone to convert them again at the original quality. So I wasted $400 to get horrible quality

Use another company! I have been trying to get some information on where my order is and customer service is unwilling or unable to locate it. I keep being told they will get back to me and crickets!

An unforgiving, unhelpful, and generally compassionless business to work for. I apologize to customers on behalf of employees only scared about losing their job because of quotas that must unceasingly be met.

Terrible! Filled my order wrong, only sent DVD's and I ordered a thumb drive. I returned the order January 4th. Today is April 10th and I still do not have that order. Terrible customer service, hard to get answers. Implied they couldn't find my order by asking me what the box looked like that I mailed it back in. I could go on and on about how much I regret ever doing business this company.
