It seems to me The business model of this company is not to protect its "reviewers"; but, instead, to charge merchants fees in return for manipulating and eliminating those merchant's negative reviews, and The Federal Trade Commission and state consumer protection authorities should investigate this internet marketing company that inaccurately holds itself out as "built on honesty and transparency."

worst company ever, if you are looking for a company that will lie to you and steal from you then go with trustpilot, we ware promised a lot of features before signing up, once you are signed up they will give you the run around and everything you have been promised will be gone! the sales people will stop replying to you, and no one will answer you. stay away from them

So a company starts spamming me and I leave a review for them on Trustpilot's website. The company disputes my review because they (naturally) don't like it. Trustpilot says I can't say bad things like use the term "spam" so I change it to "unsolicited email". They denied my review again because "unsolicited emails" is "defamatory". What good is a review site if you can't tell the truth on reviews because the truth is "defamatory"? It's ridiculous that companies can have legitimate reviews removed by calling them "defamatory" even though they are completely truthful.

Horrible experience. I was approached to add our company to trust pilot as a trial program. We tested the accuracy is the reviews by providing a few 1 stars to our own site with temporary emails and a few on various sites of different industries. Trust Pilots compliance team refuses to remove them even though they were admitantly fraudulent. This one star review is an accurate assessment of the validity to their reviews. I would venture to say that nearly 25% of all reviews are fraudulent or made of experiences that never actually happened.

Bad experience with Trust Pilot. From my research, Trustpilot comunicates to the brand in question your negative review and then it offers to cancel the negative review in exchange of money.

Warning they post fake five star reviews about their company here on google. The way you can tell this is the other reviewers with five stars have only one review. They hold your data hostage and misrepresent the product. Stay away, do not trust!
