I ordered a laptop through AVADirect. I talked with Kyle from AVADirect and he was extremely helpful!! I was worried the laptop wouldn't arrive in time before I moved, but Kyle made sure that it did. :)I've had the laptop for almost two weeks and everything is great so far!! I really like it.

Overall a positive experience for my last purchase. I actually bought a system from them back in Feb 2008. They shipped a PC without testing the memory and one of the DIMMs was bad which caused a lot of back and forth with their tech support. This time, I decided to give them another chance since CyberPowerPC want's to force liquid cooling down your throat. I like the ability to customize EVERYTHING and AVADirect delivers here. A lot of other web sites limit you to about 5 to 10 choices per part but AVADirect has hundreds. Two small issues: there is no way on their website to reset a forgotten password because their version of Captcha is outdated and expired. I had to create a new e-mail address just to get into their system and then their Paypal payment method got messed up, so I had to contact customer service to do a end run around that problem. When I got the box from Fedex: the bottom was sagging open. They double boxed it and everything was perfectly fine (no damage), but they need to use some extra tape on the bottom to strengthen the adhesive bond. Would buy again from them.

AVADirect is everything right about a custom PC builder. They offer a huge selection of hardware at great prices. If you need help, their customer support is second to none. I spoke with Kyle Mizer who offered very professional and incredibly timely responses to questions I had (he even stayed in contact with me well after regular business hours). He used his excellent knowledge of the systems and products to help me customize the perfect PC. Other custom PC builders do not offer the same level of service I received at AVADirect. Thanks Kyle and AVADirect; I highly recommend this company for your custom PC needs.
