Feedback:

I lived here for almost 2 years (2017-2019) until my wife and I purchased our first home. This was my first place of residence in the Huntsville/Madison area after moving here from Tuscaloosa. I loved this place. The community was well maintained at all times. My maintenance requests for my apartment were always addressed within 24 hours. I also really appreciated the hard work from the office people. Erin and Dustin were both a pleasure to work with and always answered all of my questions in a timely manner. I would recommend this place to anyone new to the area as well because of its convenient location. It's close to I-565, it's a short drive to Gate 7 or Gate 9 for Redstone Arsenal, and it's right down the road from Bridgestreet.

I enjoyed Arch Street. The only problem was my dope smoking neighbors & while I was out swimming at the pool with my boyfriend, the manager comes out and dare ask me if I lived there. Is it because we’re young and black? Please do not profile. How about as a manager, GET TO KNOW your residents & you wouldn’t have to put yourself in that awkward situation. Get to know your residents!! Don’t be THAT guy. You hear too many incidents on the news about black people being asked if they lived in a certain residency & being told to leave a pool. Smh. I really hope he sees this & learns from it.

Feedback:

I applied to live in this apartment complex about 3 months ago and paid my application fee of $60. I ended up choosing a different option for living, ultimately sending an email to management saying, "we (my two roommates and I) will not be choosing Arch Street Homes to live here." Thinking everything was okay, because I did not receive an email back from Arch Street management, I went back to my daily routines. This week I got a call from a collections agency saying that we were charged $150 for holding the apartment at Arch Street, yet we never asked for the apartment to be held. I called management after hearing this, took 10 times before they finally answered, and was automatically welcomed with an ill, rude manner. Management told us that we were told we were "Lucky" by management that we were not charged with an extra $200 fee that was supposedly waved. Arch Street never once sent any of us an email instructing us to pay this. Be careful if you apply here, and read the fine print if you happen to apply. These apartment homes are extremely nice and affordable, but the management makes it a total pain for living here.

I applied to live in this apartment complex about 3 months ago and paid my application fee of $60. I ended up choosing a different option for living and decided to move into Bridge Pointe Apartment Homes across the road instead (great place to stay I might add!). I was later charged $150 for holding the apartment at Arch Street, yet I never asked for the apartment to be held. Be wary if you apply here, because you may be randomly charged with fees. I was also told I was "Lucky" by management that I was not charged with an extra $200 fee that was supposedly waved. The first call I received in regards to these fees was from a debt collector. Arch Street never once sent me an email instructing me to pay this. Be careful if you apply here. Thank you for reading.

Feedback:

This was a lovely well maintained apartment complex until we got new managers about 6 months ago. Since then I have been extremely disappointed. The apartment itself is lovely, spacious, bright, clean. The only real issue is the new management. The first warm weekend we were kicked out of the pool area because the chemicals were a hazard. This is very reasonable except that nothing was communicated to me or the other tenants. The very same day and for weeks to follow there were children and other people in the unsafe pool who could have gotten chemical burns. There was no email or sign in the pool area saying the pool Is not yet open. This continued for about 2 months. Now that the pool is officially open it is disgustingly green. I will try to attach a picture. Literally the same color as the grass. They decided to repave the parking lot which is nice except that we had 24 hours notice that our cars needed to be moved or they would be towed at our own expense. Luckily I was not out of town or my car would have been towed. COME ON! at least a weeks notice would be nice. Today I went to use the gym and all the water had been shut off to the club house. No water cooler, no sink, no flushing. Here was about 10 peoples urine fermenting in the clubhouse bathroom. If there is an issue with the facilities I pay for I expect the management to communicate to me. On top of all of this, I recently received a note tucked into the crack of my door that my rent was going up and I had 6 days to decide if I wanted to stay or move. If this is someplace you are considering do not move here. Wait to see if this management lasts and wait for someone new to take over.

Feedback:

The assistant manager Erin leasing agent Dustin and grounds keeper Paul were excellent people to work with while I moved into my apartment. I especially needed some assistance because my apartment was a complete mess when I moved in. This was due to the previous cleaning service did a terrible job "cleaning" the space. The good team above were able to clean my apartment in a timely manner and compensated me with a garage for my lease term.

Feedback:

I've been living here for a year and it's been pleasant. The apartments are spacious and very nice. Maintenance people are very kind and attentive.

Feedback:

Lived here for 8 months and the only thing positive I have to say about this place is that the complex is clean and nice looking, so I'm giving it 2 stars instead of 1. The management team is petty and will try to nickel & dime you at any possible chance (perfect example, I was charged $30 for them to replace the drip pans on the stove when I moved out). They told me I had to pay $50 to use the key fob to allow me to use the secondary gate to the unit. Also one of the employees working the leasing office had an attitude EVERY time I needed help. The location is okay if you want to go to the mall frequently otherwise this place isn't really ideal for anything. If you have a family there's better options in Madison. And if you want to be near night life you'll have to drive the interstate anytime you want to go out so there's better options in Huntsville. Also there is a train very close by that runs frequently and is loud.Overall I would not recommend this place, there are many better options in Huntsville/Madison area.

Feedback:

It was fine for me when I first moved in September 2018 because I was working out of state and was barely here. But now that I am back every since the incident with the missing of my money order last month in June and the nasty attitudes. I paid my stuff on time faithfully and never miss it even when I was working in Seattle, I made sure I paid my rent here on time.So being accuse of not paying and being yelled at really stuck to me. They apologize, I honestly hate going into the office and I do not feel comfortable here anymore. Mentally, I have to make myself go in there. No, I don't want to pay my rent online because of the extra service fee and I specifically tell the delivery people to but my stuff at the door but they won't. I would like to break my lease but it is expensive. I wish there was a way to get out of a lease.

Feedback:

Not a fan of this place. We’ve had issues with them from the start. When I moved in I wasn’t even told where my unit was, had no idea we had a trash compactor. They made everyone pay $30 for a key fob to be able to use the weight room AND POOL. There was many occasions I’d stop at the office after I got off work to pick up a package and they already be gone before it was time for the office to close. My car was rummaged through one night and I called to let them know. They said an officer would be contacting me for a report and that never happened. AND we received a document about renewing the lease that said they needed to know that day (luckily they gave us 3 days to tell them since we hadn’t even had a chance to discuss it) prices went up for rent because of “updates” being done to the kitchen. The only thing we don’t have already in the list of things is backsplash. Honestly I’d rather have new counter tops considering the people before us burnt them I’m sorry for this to any of the nice people that work here at Arch Street ( bc the maintenance people are very nice.) I’d find a new place to live but I already paid $350 non refundable deposit so my non shedding, 9 lb, well behaved dog can live here and not mess anything up ✌
