We have done business with Kap Signs for almost five years now. As you know, signage isn't cheap at all. One of our signs came loose and we called to let them know, also asking if they would be able to come out to tighten it. They said they would have someone out that day and when we asked if there would be a charge, they said NO! They had someone come out to do the repair which took all of 10 minutes!!! However, I got a bill a month later for two hours of service! They LIED and offered DEPORABLE customer service!! Would NOT recommend to ANYONE!

KAP Signs and Owner, David Blang, really BLESSED FIRST GRACE CHURCH in Dayton/Vandalia with one of the most beautiful, eye-catching, expertly-crafted electronic signs we've ever seen! They walked us through the design process, the securing of permits, all the "fine tuning" for the project and even a programming tutorial for the display by David Blang himself. Pricing was competitive, they did EVERYTHING involving installation, and communication was excellent at every step in the process. Highest recommendation (wish we could give 10 **********)!!

I contracted with KAP to make a new sign for my business. Went through the planning process and came up with a design. The sign was installed and I was very happy with the result. However, after installation, I noticed that the address was not included on the sign. We had stated during the planning process to include the address. I take some responsibility because I did not catch it during the design phase that it was not included in the schematic. I called KAP and spoke to my rep, Dave and explained the situation and what options did we have to add the address. He said he would come up with some ideas and call me back. A few months went by and no call. I called again and spoke to Dave, he apologized and said he would get on it and call me back. Many more months went by and no call. This time I called and asked for the owner, also named Dave, explained the situation and my discontent at this point. I assumed he would be beside himself that I received such poor service, but he was actually very nonchalant about it, no apology of any kind and said he would get with Dave and get back with me. The first Dave then e-mailed me and said they could add the address and gave me the cost. It was the full cost. I responded that the cost is not important to me but that I feel I should be compensated for the lack of service, especially given the expense I had for the new sign. He said he would get with owner and let me know. I got another email stating no discount. I explained to him that I really don't care about the cost,, but more about the fact noone had acknowledged that I received horrible service and if that was their position, I would just go elsewhere. He emailed back, they could take $15 off. I moved on to another company.
