Feedback:

I think the ladies at this location are the best. They are problem-solvers. I have always (over the last 4 years, many times) had great response from the employees. The place is very busy sometimes (I was there twice today, once very busy and once almost empty) but just be patient. They will usually work out whatever issue you are having.

Does not even deserve one star. I called to ask a simple question regarding a fee for a lapse of insurance. They told me that I HAD to come IN PERSON to the office to take care of it and get them a form as well and there was absolutely no way around it. As a single mom who works full time in Wilmington 8-5, and with the DMV hours anywhere, it is IMPOSSIBLE for me to get there. So...after getting off the phone angry, I went to the NC DMV website and found out that I can do IT ALL ONLINE. LITERALLY. The people that work in this office have absolutely NO clue as to what they are doing. We (my boyfriend and I) have had numerous occasions that they flat out are not helpful and give you the wrong information which causes more issues and frustrations. These people are supposed to know what they are doing given the field that they are in...but they absolutely do not. Actually, I would consider them THE MOST rude people you will ever meet! Would highly recommend going to a different facility with concerns regarding your transportation needs and issues. If not, chances are you would have to go back numerous times for the same issue because they simply have NO clue. Just FYI, take it for what its worth...but I will tell you, they are NOT worth your time and aggravation!!

They gave me a registration for a month and failed to mention that I needed to come back and pay for the rolling year when I could have don't it in the same visit. Terrible customer service and no one answered the phone after calling 10 times.

You know, I understand that life at a job like this might suck...but you are working in the world of customer service. You are providing a service that is necessary to people. Having a bad attitude with someone when you answer the phone is completely unsatisfactory. Giving the bare minimum explanation to someone when they have asked you a question and then being upset with them when they don't understand what you need or where they get a certain form from is completely unsatisfactory. I wish there was a option of ZERO but sadly Google doesn't have that. This place and their customer service is terrible and in need of serious training. 0 out of 5.

Worst customer service ever. Refused to do my paperwork after 4:15 after I waited in line for 20 minutes because they are slower than dirt. I missed the time limit by 2 minutes because of them and they refused to process my paperwork. I would give a 0 star review if I could.

Don't go there unless it's a very simple request. They have no idea what they're doing and are the most rude and unprofessional people I have ever dealt with. They had me jumping through hoops to try to get my car registered with my married name. My deepest apologizes to Kia Finance for ever doubting what they were telling me. I would drive 100 miles to another DMV location before I would ever go there again. The only reason I gave them 1 star is because you can't post without at least one. They don't deserve it.

I was over charged on my boat Registering I have a boat under 10 foot I talked to the wildlife officers they told me that it was 30 dollars a year or 95 for three year's the black hair lady charged me 70 for one year she got me for 40 dollars I will never go back there again they will rip you a new one there !

STAY AWAY!!!Just a torturous experience! Let me start by saying we went to the office in Shalotte the week before and the woman that helped us was lovely! She gave us a check list of what we needed and we went on our way to gather what we needed to register our NY car in NC now...fast forward to this week.We arrived early at 8:45am for the 9 am posted opening time but they opened the office late.Then, there is no signage or direction in the office just two lines separated by twine that is secured with thumb tacks. After a 20 minute wait the woman at the window said I can't help you, you need to go to the other line, they haven't taught me how to do that yet. I had to go to the END of that other line. Waited another 45 minutes only to be told that I was missing a state number from the leasing company. This was not on the checklist that the other office gave us. I got the number and returned to be told that another piece of information was not in order. This was all while the people around me were saying goodluck, they've each been back 4,5, and 6 times and felt that they were being harassed. And she was super nasty to her colleagues that were asking her questions, extremely inappropriate on so many levels. I too felt harassed, and that the woman behind the counter was having a power trip with the clients just trying to register their vehicles, continuously sending them away one by one. I spoke calmly, intellectually and very elequently but that didn't matter because she was still harassing, derogatory in her ways towards me (as well as the others) and did not have an ounce of common sense. We left being sent away a third time, and that was the last time, I was going back to the Shalotte office. In 30 minutes we were at the Shalotte office, greeted with an eager to accomodate smile and we left with NC plates in hand in 5 minutes. What a pleasure! Bottom line!!!! Do t waste your time...Your time is much better spent driving to Shalotte than dealing with this place and the power trip bully behind the counter!!!
