We had my daughter's sweet 16 on July 12, 2019 at the Mill Pond Country Club. The photo booth broke down for approximately 1hr after the first few sessions and was supposed to run for 3 hours from 7:30-10:30. Even though it was extended to 11:00 it was not a full 3 hours and was missing during the most crucial time people would take pics in the photo booth. Then, I was told I would not be able to get the digital copies of all of the photo booth pictures due to the change of machines. Instead of having about 150-200 photos, I have 20. The microphones were cracking and popping all throughout the candle lighting ceremony and many of the zap photos are so dark that you cannot even see people's faces. People barely danced until the last 45mins of the party. Overall it is very disappointing to have many adult guests tell you that the dj wasn't that great when you just spent $2800 for it. After giving this feedback in response to the company's email request for an evaluation, I didn't even receive a response phone call or email. When I requested the photo booth pics I didn't even get so much as an apology for not being able to provide them (products that were in our agreement). When I called to discuss the situation further, I was told all sorts of excuses and that I should be happy that my zap photographer took "posed" pictures during the party because they normally charge more for that. I have hired zap photographers with DJ's in the past and have had family members who also have had zap photographers and they take whatever pictures you want as long as it's within the party hours. After working with many different dJ's and speaking with friends about their experiences with DJ's, it is very shocking and disappointing the lack of care and concern. I actually had a photographer (for the same cost as the zap add on) that I was going to hire who would have come with special lighting equipment and would have taken pictures 1 hour before the event as well as during it, but I thought it would be better to keep all staff from 1 company and had previously had great experiences with zap photographers. It is one thing to have a bad experience with a company, it's another when they totally disregard the situation and don't even offer so much as an apology let alone any reimbursement for not providing products paid for in my contract. My cousin had a problem with her photo booth at her daughter's sweet 16 a week after my party and the DJ not only reprinted the 200 pictures, but refunded her $200. I went with this company so we could have a younger DJ/MC, but in the end I wish I would have kept my original DJ. He may be in his 40's, but he is reliable, professional, honorable and knows how to keep a party dancing.
