Evaluation Criteria: Best Webinar Software
Ease of Use

Our evaluation of webinar software involves a look in how easy-to-use the software is for the average user as well as for a new user using the software for the first time. With many communications platforms there are a number of conventions that users recognize at a simple glance. We analyze the design and interface decisions which have been made that may deviate from normal conventions to determine whether they add or remove from the experience.

Audio Quality

Having a quality audio experience is one of the most important aspects of webinar software separating mediocre solutions from those which provide users with an optimal experience. Webinars with audio provided with them ensure that the presenter is able to speak with their audience and communicate either in one direction or in multiple directions. Having crystal clear audio provided to all participants ensures the best possible experience.

Video Quality

In addition to audio quality, we analyze the video quality for both on-screen presentation and webcam presentation, giving presenters a variety of options for presenting themselves to their viewers. Having a crisp and clear video stream to all viewers ensures that viewers are able to read and understand the information presented to them while also ensuring that the presenter has less limitations to work around and fewer frustrations during webinaring.

Features

During the evaluation process we also compare different features and functionalities offered to presenters in addition to the features presented to attendees. Different webinar platforms will offer different feature sets; we analyze the types of features being offered and whether the features work well for the end user. We also analyze whether the features are useful and often used by either presenters or by the attendees depending on the feature.

Support

In addition to usability aspects of webinar software, we also analyze the support options made available to the end user. It is important for a webinar software provider to support their software by providing agents which are able to look into issues and resolve them for the customer. In the case that a user runs into an issue with accessing or using the software, it is important for there to be a process for those issues to be reported and resolved.
